Description

Fernside Memorial Hall is located next to Fernside School at the closed-off intersection of Oxford and O'Roarkes Roads. The spacious main hall has a stage and wooden flooring, and can accommodate up to 150 people. No stiletto high heels are to be worn in the Fernside Hall due to the damage they can cause to the rimu flooring. A kitchen and supper room are located at one end of the hall, and toilets at the opposite end. Disabled access can be gained through the main doors. A spacious car parking area is located close to the hall. The local playgroup, school and various other community groups and clubs are regular users of the hall. Casual hire is available for meetings, weddings and other social functions or events.
