The Oxford Town Hall was built in 1931 and is a significant presence in the centre of Oxford. Closed during 2014 for earthquake strengthening and a complete rebuild of the A&P Room, kitchen and storeroom area. The upgraded facility was re-opened on Thursday 19 February 2015.
The main hall features a stage and a large open polished wooden floor area, including a sizeable mezzanine floor with tiered seating. The main hall has a full digital cinema system and can accommodate up to 230 theatre style, with a further 70 seats in the mezzanine floor. The newly built link space connects a separate meeting room (the A&P Room) and a spacious kitchen. The A&P Room can be booked separately for smaller functions or events providing space for up to 100 people.
In addition to regular movie showings and a craft market, the hall regularly plays host to local community groups, service organisations, schools and is also a popular destination for Weddings. The buildings well featured facilities and grounds make it a inviting venue for a wide range of events, shows and functions.

Keys can be collected from the Oxford Service Centre 34 Main Street, Oxford Opening hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm aside from public holidays.
