Small Theatre (Cinema 3)
Bookings in the small theatre can be made 56 days in advance, we are unable to accept bookings without at least 6 weeks notice. Bookings are unable to be made online during school holidays without prior discussion with the Council. Please call 0800965468 if you wish to book during this time.
The Small Theatre (Cinema 3) is a multi purpose theatre with changeable configurations to suit different needs and has two has two small dressing rooms backstage. Technical inclusions are a full digital cinema facilities, movable staging, stage steps, basic room and stage lighting plus access to the Yamaha baby grand piano.
The room hosts film nights, concerts, presentations, civic events, comedy shows and can be utilized as a large dressing room for performances in the Main Auditorium. Video & Sound can be sent from the Main Auditorium to Small Theatre for display on the cinema system. Please note we ask that no glitter costumes or glitter is used within the small theatre.
